Welcome to The Fox

A great place to eat, drink and sleep. A wonderful country pub located in Farthinghoe, between Banbury and Brackley with Silverstone and Bicester Village close by. The ideal spot to enjoy a traditional country pub atmosphere. Simply good quality food and drink in a relaxed setting.

We operate a varied menu with our Sunday Roast being the ideal weekend treat. Our main menu is served at lunch and dinner Monday to Saturday, with specials on our blackboards to add to it, plus at lunch fresh cut sandwiches - great with some of our gourmet chips! Our menu changes regularly to reflect the seasons and aims to have something for everyone.  Our team are trained in offering alternatives where dietary needs demand - many of our dishes can be made suitable for gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian & vegan diets.
Copies of all our current menus can be viewed on the menu tab above
We welcome feedback about our food.

We’re a pub! Our beer is in top condition, our wines are chilled (when appropriate), our gin range is extensive and really should be checked out.
The bar has a log fire, bar stools and someone to talk to about your day. If you prefer we’ll serve drinks to you at your table. It’s important you enjoy our pub the way you feel most comfortable.

The Fox is in the wonderful village of Farthinghoe. Rush hour doesn’t really exist, and so we have 4 very peaceful en-suite rooms, all with level access one of which has improved disabled facilities.
They have all the usual accompaniments you’d expect, and if there’s anything else you need we’re more than willing to help. When you stay with us we put a hamper in your room with breakfast goodies to enjoy in the morning at your leisure so early departs or lazy mornings are not a problem.
